This project involved the installation and start-up of a fuel dilution system on a 160 mega-watt C&E corner-fired water tube boiler. JLCC provided fuel dilution mixer design work as well as providing on-site start up trouble-shooting. Overall NOx emissions have been reduced to date by ~ 88%. Further reduction is anticipated as a result of additional system modifications now being implemented. This project was the topic for a case study by Todd Combustion; click here for details.
