This project
involved the installation and start-up of ten low-NOx burners (75 mmbtu/hour
each) burning both natural gas and hydrogen in a Riley water tube boiler at
Dow's JLCC provided all of the initial burner design work as well as providing on-site training, installation quality control checks, and start up trouble-shooting. Overall NOx emissions have been reduced by ~ 85%. Subsequent to the initial installation and startup, JLCC has been on-site for follow-up boiler tuning and inspection.
